Stars walked the red carpet with their perfect tresses and gave us some major inspiration. We saw everything from slicked back looks to soft, glamorous waves, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Take a look!

Voluminous and Off the Face: The voluminous look was definitely a hit this Oscar season. We saw stars like Chrissy Teigan and Jennifer Garner wear this look beautifully. To recreate this look at home simply tease the top half of your hair, put the lower half back into a low bun, and add some hairspray. It’s super simple and super glamorous.
Lady Gaga
Glamorous Waves: Lady Gaga and Cate Blanchett wore beautiful, glamorous waves for the Oscars this year. This sleek, structured hair style is extremely glamorous and helps keep the focus on their dresses. To create this look at home curl your hair with a large barrel, with all the curls going the same way. Use your fingers and some sculpting cream to mold the curls together.
Parted and Pulled Back: Parted down the middle and pulled back on the sides seemed to be a big theme this Oscar Sunday. This look is extremely sleek and can also be gorgeous for day-time and work wear. Brie Larson and Alicia Vickander stole the red carpet with their amazing looks.

Go One More Day Without Washing Your Hair

If you are trying to grow your hair out, or just trying to get your hair back to health, then you probably know that not washing your hair everyday is a huge help in these situations. The plus side to letting your hair gather a bit of dirt and grease, is that there are plenty of options for rocking your third-day hair. Grab your dry shampoo and give these looks a try. We can’t wait to see you recreate these awesome hairstyles.

#1: Double French Braids

This look is super chic and a bit sporty, so it is perfect for running errands, and keeping your hair out of your face. The Kardashians have sort of coined this look, featuring it all over their social media platforms. You can wear the braids tighter, so pull them apart a bit for more of a boho look. The best part about this look is that when your hair is a bit dirty, it holds the style much better and you don’t have to worry about your braids coming undone during the day. Check out these gorgeous braids looks for inspiration.

#2: Messy Bun

This is definitely the go-to hairstyle for most people when they are dealing with third-day hair. Have you ever noticed that your messy buns look amazing on the day you decide to wash your hair? Well, why not add some dry shampoo and make that style last one more day? This is the perfect look for work or play, and it looks absolutely adorable (plus, it is right on trend). People will be totally envious of your perfect, messy bun, but it’s up to you to tell them your secret. We love how these buns are perfectly messy and chic!

#3: Texturized Waves

Adding some texture to your hair on the day before it’s wash time is a really great way to prolong the wear of your style. Simply add some dry shampoo to your roots and the crown of your head to give it a bit of a lift, and then add the texture of your choice. A wand, curling iron will give you amazing beach waves. When you are done, either add some sea-salt spray to amp up the texture, or add some hairspray, and you are all set. Beach waves are always in style, and are always beautiful. These textured looks are definitely our inspiration.

Layer Short and Long, We Love Them All!

Layers are an amazing way to spice up your look and add some movement to your hair. You can go dramatic with your layers and create an entirely new vibe with your hair or simply freshen up your style by adding some body to your hair. The choice is yours, but both are great options-especially for the Spring time!

Lighten Your Load

Spring is all about that light, airy, fresh feeling, so why not give your hair the same feeling? A short, choppy, layered look is perfect for a new beginning and a chance to step out of your comfort zone. Plus, your hair will feel light as a feather and out of your face when the weather warms up. We love this look on celebrity Jenna Elfman. She looks chic and sophisticated but still playful!

Freshen Up Your Tresses

Adding layers to your long hair is a great way to freshen up your look for the Spring. Having long hair that is all one length can be heavy and start to look dull if it is not kept freshly trimmed. So add some long, subtle layers to your look and you will feel lighter and look fresh without having to make a drastic change. Selena Gomez pulls off the long, layered look flawlessly and we are obsessed!

Frame That Face

Face-framing layers are an excellent option for hair that needs a bit of life. This style can add more dimension to your hair and make your hair style really suit your face shape. At the salon, simply ask for face-framing layers and they will give you a cut that is best suited for your hair type and face shape. This style is super easy to style and it gives your hair amazing body. We are huge fans of this look and are forever in love with Jennifer Aniston’s layers!

2016’s Biggest Hair Trends

Well, we made it through the first month of 2016. We hope you are all having a great start of your year. We thought we would share this year’s biggest hair cut trends with you today. Whether you want to switch up your look a bit or do a dramatic change, here is our guide to staying stylish with you hair this year.
Now, on to the trends!

#1: Long, Textured Layers

It is no surprise that the “beach-babe,” wavy look is still going strong. This look is so chic and stylish and gives you a super laid-back vibe. Ask your stylist to give you some layers, and perhaps some high and low-lights to enhance the texture and you are set. This is the perfect style for someone who just feels like their hair needs a bit of life, but they don’t want to do anything drastic. Check out how Cara DeLevigne rocks this look. AMAZING!

#2: Short, Retro Bob

Go BOLD this year and rock a short bob haircut. This haircut would look amazing on so many different hair textures. As for the length, anywhere from cheekbone to chin length will really give you that retro feel. Add some choppy bangs and you will be looking like you walked straight out of Gatsby. Now, remember this haircut is a serious commitment, so be sure to communicate with your stylist clearly about your vision before diving in. We love this look on model Heather Kemesky. So BOLD!

#3: Mid-length, Polished Bob

This interesting variation of the classic bob is the new “it girl” haircut. Cut to the shoulders with long layers gives you that sexy vibe, but the blunt edge makes you look super polished and sleek. This might just be the haircut that gives you the best of both worlds. When you style this look focus on shine and sleekness to keep your hair from looking too frizzy. Khloe Kardashian pulls off the mid-length, polished bob flawlessly. WORK IT GIRL!
We hope this have you some 2016 style inspiration. Whether you want a subtle change or you want to make a bold statement, changing your look is so much fun.

Make Your Style Last (Days!)

Want to make your good hair day last longer? Well, listen up because we have some expert tips for you! It all comes down to three simple steps to get your hair style to last, and look great for days! Train your hair, prepare your hair, and protect your hair — it’s that simple!

Train your hair

Oily hair is probably the main reason that your hair style doesn’t last. It makes your hair look flat, and dirty, and just an all-around hot mess. So, we want you to stop washing your hair.
Washing your hair everyday causes your hair to feel like it needs to produce more oil because you are stripping the oil from your hair everyday. Your hair can definitely be trained to produce less oil, but in order for that to happen, you need to take the hair washing down a few notches. Start out with washing your hair every-other day and using dry shampoo on the in-between days if you feel like your hair is getting greasy. Slowly work your way to washing your hair every third day, and trust us, your hair will thank you! Just a tip — hair that has not been freshly washed holds a style better and longer!

Prepare your hair

If you want your hairstyle to last, you need to make sure you have the right tools. If you use a heat styling tool, try using a ceramic tool. It will help your hair stay curled longer and look really beautiful. Using the proper styling products on your hair is also really helpful. Be sure to top off your look with some touchable texture/hair spray.

Protect your hair

Keeping your hair protected is probably the most important thing to remember if you want to make your hairstyle last. One of the easiest and best protective hairstyles to wear while you are sleeping is a loose bun, secured with large clips. This is amazing, especially if you have your hair curled. Simply swirl your hair into a loose bun on the top of your head and secure it with two large clips. Definitely do not use hair ties while you sleep — your hair will become very damaged. In the morning, take down your bun, re-curl a few pieces and you are ready to go!
