Nourish Your Hair from the Inside Out:

Over the past few weeks we dove deep into the Color Series, but now it is time to talk about nourishing and conditioning your hair to keep your color looking amazing! The need of summer is near, and your hair might be a bit beat from the sunshine and saltwater/cholorine, so it is definitely time to nourish your hair from the inside out. Healthy hair comes from within, so we are going to show you exactly what you can do to get healthy hair from the inside out. Our favorite gal Gwyneth Paltrow is the perfect example of healthy, glowing hair (+skin!), so let’s jump right in.
Drinking water is definitely the number one element in having healthy hair from within. Not only will it hydrate your hair and skin, but it will also make your hair softer and easier to style. If you are hydrated, your hair will definitely reward you by looking shiny and gorgeous.
There are also certain foods that contribute greatly to your hair’s health. These include kale, blueberries, sweet potatoes, and almonds.
Kale helps with hair elasticity, making it stronger and less prone to breakage. It also helps stimulate blood circulation to your hair, which promotes hair growth.

Blueberries are super rich in vitamin C, which means that they help your scalp produce its natural oils, in turn acting like a natural conditioner.
Sweet potatoes contain tons of vitamin A which helps with dry, brittle hair. The omega-3s promote growth and nourish the hair follicles.
Almonds have lots of Vitamin D and Magnesium, which will decrease hair fall out. Who wouldn’t want less hair fall out?! That sounds amazing.
If you still feel like you need a healthy hair boost give vitamins a try. The vitamin complex MSM, which can be found at any health food store, is a hair, skin, and nails vitamin that works wonders. Using Gwyneth Paltrow for inspiration, and following her example if healthy eating for glowing hair and skin will leave you shining from the inside out. Healthy hair is beautiful hair.
